What Can the New Features Do?
Ever opened Cookidoo, known you wanted something for dinner, but had absolutely no idea what to search for?
Two new features could make that moment a lot easier:
Cookidoo Assistant and Recipe Translation.
What is Cookidoo Assistant?
Cookidoo Assistant is an AI-powered helper in the Cookidoo app.
You can ask it a question in ordinary language, such as “What can I make with the peppers and courgette in my fridge?” or
“Find me some ideas for a quick family dinner.” It can suggest Cookidoo recipes, help you explore different cuisines and
assist with planning, including adding a recipe to your shopping list!
Think of it as a more conversational way to find inspiration when your brain has clocked off but dinner hasn’t.
Can Cookidoo translate recipes now? Yes!
Recipe Translation lets you find an eligible recipe from another Cookidoo country and translate it in the app!! Open the recipe’s detail page, tap the translation option, and you can follow the translated recipe with Guided Cooking.
That opens up some exciting international cooking possibilities.
Fancy making the Italian version of a dish you tried on holiday?
Curious about a recipe from Germany, Spain or Portugal?
You can explore beyond the recipes originally written in English without having to puzzle through every instruction yourself.
The: translation currently covers recipes from the UK, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Germany and France! I'm sure more will follow soon!

The Assistant gives you another way to find an idea, while translation makes more of the international recipe collection accessible.
